My brilliant friend, Lucy

My brilliant but unassuming friend Lucy created this to accompany Topography, posted November 6. Sure, it's down there in the archives, posted with the poem. But I wanted to make sure everybody would see it, even those who find that loooong scroll down to the early part of the month too long an interlude in their twitchy clickin'. Because you've just got to see this...

Click on Babushkas and Anadems and Native Tourist, to the right, to see more of her talented work.

Thank you, Coyote. I truly enjoyed doing this. Your poems inspire me. From now on, if you'd like me to illustrate a poem for you, please, just ask...I'd be delighted to make more such endeavors.

Thank you for a kind and generous offer. I'll keep it in mind. Right now, I'm kind of liking the way that things that are inspired are working -- don't you find that sometimes things speak to you right away? I found that with Siesta time. I know I would have had a much harder time writing the piece to go with your drawing if it hadn't begun whispering things to me, the moment I saw it.

I'd love to have a 3X6 of this for my wall. Very cool.
