Sometimes
for brief seconds
their pupils
elongate vertically
like those of a cat
or a snake.

Someone watches Coyote looking at people carefully, in their unguarded moments and noticing their pupils elongate vertically... This person notices Coyote's pupils doing the Salsa, while he observes all these other people...
Interesting, this endless chain of observation, isn't it?
But I thought it was the rhumba...!
I prefer snakes. Their will is transparent. Cats keep too many secrets...
Cats may really just be snakes wearin' wigs & prosthetic legs so people will think they're cuter and like 'em better...
The proof is in how they land...
