that looks more like snow than water
Water's not far under the snow, ma'am. Truth be told, not far enough. The river really hasn't frozen to a safe thickness yet. There were snowmobiles blasting around out there too, so I imagine an idiot or two will crash through, before things are solid enough.
It's a Canadian winter tradition...
