Place is important to you, isn't it, ma'am? It's looking north on the Rideau Canal, from the Laurier Avenue Bridge toward the Mackenzie King Bridge. The towers on the right are in the parliamentary precinct, and the towers on the left are the Chateau Laurier hotel.
Ottawa is holiday-worthy, even if one aging wit calls it "the town that fun forgot".
With due respect to our very popular Winterlude festival, you'd probably want to focus on months that don't start with an "F" - those ones are "F"*ing cold.
Of course, ma'am, you may be professionally interested in this coming year's festive anaesthesia theme...

It's important in that I store away the information in the recesses of my mind for when I'm contemplating a holiday.....
