Ottawa website openfile calculated that today would be the best day of the year to see the sunset shoot straight down Sparks Street, sorta like a wintry, slightly mis-aimed Stonehenge. Only one of a very few days. So they're holding an "Ottawahenge" photo contest.
Too bad Sparks just misses hitting the winter solstice. What was Nicholas Sparks thinking? And today's forecast for cloudy wetness is unhelpful.
