After love gone

I choose words carefully
for a close friend
and consider
a little too wryly
for the karmic good
of my spiritual health
that even in
fairly recent experience
advice about moving on
after love gone
devastatingly sideways
would have been more solely
about soothing a heart only
and did not need to cover
a decent repair technician
because her salt tears
would have fallen
then instead
to sheets of paper
and perhaps blotted
ink beyond reading
but at least would not have
shorted out the keyboard
of her damn computer.
